The Audience is invited to wear their best blue jeans to this concert!! We're breaking down the barriers of classical music - Classical Music Is For Everyone! As the famous conductor "Gustavo Dudamel states - "Music is a Fundamental Human Right"! How right he is!!!! Come enjoy the music AND help raise money for Lyme Disease Research - with proceeds of this concert going to the Lyme Disease Foundation- ILADS.
As part of this concert we welcome the shining stars of tomorrow in our side-by-side portion of the concert. The area's best young musicians will join the Winchester Orchestra in perform select pieces in the concert culminating with Beethoven's Third Symphony (The Eroica).

"The General" - a story set during the Civil War with Buster Keaton trying to join the confederate army. This Silent Film will feature members of the Winchester Orchestra providing the live music to this funny and action packed silent film.

A comedy for all ages, after unsuccessfully trying to join the Confederate Army, Buster Keaton goes head to head with Union spies to retrieve his beloved locomotive. The action and comedy never ends in this 1927 Silent Film.
Here's a chance to see the professional musicians of the Winchester Orchestra rehearse in preparation for their performance with the movie that evening! The Orchestra will open their doors at 6:30pm so you and your family can experience how a professional orchestra operates, rehearses and interacts. This is a great behind the scenes event that is now open to the public as the WO's first open rehearsal.

Doors will open at 6:30pm and close promptly at 7:00pm.
The rehearsal/performance will begin at 7:00pm and end at 9:00pm
There will be a small break at 7:30pm - The Movie will begin at 7:40pm.
Cost of this event is $15 per person- $10 for students 18 and under - on a first come first serve basis. Students 18 and under must enjoy the rehearsal/performance with an adult.
This will be a General Admission Event.

**Remember - the Winchester Orchestra will be working during this time. The audience is reminded that silence is needed throughout the rehearsal. However, applause at the beginning and end is appropriate.** TICKETS $15 adults; $10 children (18 and under) Children 6 and under FREE.
