The Winchester Orchestra works as a modern orchestra. In addition to being known as a chamber orchestra, The Winchester Orchestra also works as a recording orchestra for pop music, cinema soundtracks, Television, Radio, new music recordings, composer demo music and video game music.

The Winchester Orchestra has the flexibility of providing our clients with the orchestra formation best suited to their needs, from a single musician, to a small string orchestra to a big orchestral sound. This also includes selecting the best musicians for the type of production required, whether it would be pop, classical or film music. Here are some samples of our work:

Our musicians are some of the best musicians in the Washington, D.C. Region and also perform with other ensembles including the National Symphony, Fairfax Symphony, Maryland Orchestra, as well as musicians from the major service bands such as the Marine Band/Orchestra, Air Force Band/Orchestra, Navy Band/Orchestra and Army Band/Orchestra - to name a few.  You can choose to use one of our conductors, or provide your own conductor for your project.

Conveniently located two miles from Dulles International Airport, The Winchester Orchestra records exclusively with Assembly Line Studios.  The WO and Assembly Line Studios can also provide on-site recording throughout the DC Region if you choose to record in one of Northern Virginia's/D.C's churches, cathedrals, concert halls, or other chosen venue. Not only will you receive excellent recording service, we can also provide you with complete duplicating/production services for your project. We continously improve our recording and duplication equipment, and have the top equipment with the best microphones, mixers and preamps available.
